OUR VISION

We are a licensed provider of quality vision care products and

personalized optometric services in Downtown Alhambra and the San Gabriel Valley.

Our experienced doctors and staff offer comprehensive vision examinations and are trained in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide array of eye diseases, conditions, and problems.

It is our mission to provide the best eye care services possible. We use the most advanced, state-of-the-art diagnostic technology and eye care products available. We are committed to educating our patients and providing personalized eye care services to our patients.

OUR TEAM

DR. DONNA HONG, O.D.

Dr. Donna M. Hong grew up in Alhambra and is an Alhambra High School Alumni.  She received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Psychobiology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and her Doctor of Optometry Degree at the Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO). She did her clinical rotations at Eye Care Associates in Nevada, Center for the Partially Sighted in Santa Monica and Optometric Center of Los Angeles (OCLA). Dr. Hong’s research paper on “Functional Visual Outcomes of Cataract Surgery in Patients with 20/20 or Better Preoperative Visual Acuity” was published in the Journal of Cataract & Refractive Surgery (2009).  Dr. Hong served on the Board of Directors for the San Gabriel Valley Optometric Society and received the Project Keep Leadership Award in 2009 at the COA House of Delegates Conference. She is passionate about her profession and is an active member of the California Optometric Association (COA) and the American Optometric Association (AOA). Dr. Hong can also perform eye examinations in Spanish and Vietnamese. When she is not working, Dr. Hong enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with her family.

DR. IRENE CHOI, O.D.

Dr. Irene Choi completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles and received her doctorate from the State University of New York College of Optometry; graduating from both on the Dean's List. She completed her clinical training at Woodhull Medical Center, the Veteran Affairs Brooklyn Medical Center, Ezra Medical Center and the Vision Therapy and Pediatrics Clinic at the University Eye Center in Manhattan. 

She then went on to complete a residency in Primary Care/Ocular Disease at the Bronx Care Health Center, with an emphasis in anterior/posterior segment pathology, oculoplastics, glaucoma, retina and pediatrics, where she also provided on call consults for the emergency department. Dr. Choi is a current Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She is a published clinician in Case Reports in Ophthalmological Medicine and has presented multiple lectures at conferences, including COPE - approved lectures. 

Dr. Choi is fluent in English and Cantonese, and can perform exams in Mandarin and Spanish as well. In her free time she enjoys traveling, trying new foods and spending time with her family.
